Our visit from Richard Branson

We met Richard Branson!

On 3rd February, we were over the moon to have a Teams call with Richard Branson! Our vision is rising to our best and all our classes are named after hot air balloon pilots. Richard Branson found out that one of our classes is named after him and he was curious to find out more!

Thank you for having us

We had a 30 minutes Teams call from Necker Island and Richard spoke to the children about his adventures, challenges and dreams.

See the video of the event here.

They had an opportunity to ask him questions and we were even presented with a piece of the Atlantic Flyer hot air balloon that he flew in 1987, breaking a world record. A moment never to forget!

Following the visit, Richard Branson wrote about the visit on his blog. You can read the blog here.

Life is an adventure

We had a sneak preview of Richard's video 'Life is an adventure'. We were the first school in the UK to watch the video and were amazed by Richard's achievements. We were keen to ask him more about driving an aquatic car, flying into space and crashing a hot air balloon! You can watch the video that we previewed here.
