Upton St. James is committed to safeguarding children and young people and it is our expectation that everyone who works in our school shares this commitment, regardless of whether they are in school on a paid or voluntary basis and regardless of their role within the school.
We have weekly online safety updates on our school newsletter to raise the profile of key online safety messages. We have carefully mapped the online safety objectives from Project Evolve and our PSHE scheme of learning (Jigsaw) onto our overall curriculum map so that children develop a deep understanding of how to keep themselves and others safe online and offline.
