Team Points

 

Upton have four teams, named after rivers: Dart, Exe, Plym and Teign. 

 

Children earn points throughout the week for acknowledging effort, achievement and good behaviour.

 

Whole school team points are totalled each week and team places 1st-4th are given out at Celebration Assembly. The winning team for the half term are allowed to come into school in non-uniform on the first Friday after the half term holiday. 

 

At the end of the year, the team with the most points is presented with a shield, which is displayed in the school entrance area.
