St Mary Magdalene

We are a Voluntary Controlled Church of England School and very much value our links with the local parish church of Upton, St Mary Magdalene and the Diocese of Exeter.

All school children visit the Church for occasions such as Harvest, Christmas and the Leaver's service and in addition class visits are arranged relating to work being studied in the RW curriculum.

A team from St Mary Magdalene, led by Edwina Corderoy (Licensed Reader), visit the school to deliver 'Open the Book' assemblies, acts of collective worship and twice yearly lead an afternoon of' Prayer Spaces'.
